Hortonville hosting first international youth wrestling tournament in U.S.

HORTONVILLE, Wis. (WBAY) – Wrestlers from around the globe will go head-to-head in opposition to Us residents this weekend at the Aviators Global Youth Wrestling Event.

“I’m incredibly enthusiastic. It is the 1st time for, for our group to be at the U.S., so we are actually, genuinely psyched,” Matteas Huhta, a wrestling mentor from Sweden, stated.

Right after yrs of touring and creating pals with coaches all over the world, the Aviators Wrestling Club will host the first-ever global youth wrestling tournament to happen in the U.S.

“We are remaining with people right here in their properties. They open up their doors to us to finish strangers, you know,” Swedish wrestling mentor Samuel Eriksson claimed. ”To go to school in one more state, it’s, it is insane. But it adds to the practical experience. All those people factors are some thing, some thing new and anything.”

Come Saturday, wrestlers from Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, Estonia, Mexico, Uzbekistan and Germany will consider to the mat in Hortonville to see who comes out on best.

“On the mat, if our little ones will wrestle the American children, it’s not heading to be helpful any longer,” Eriksson mentioned, smiling. “I hope we will display the People that we are, we are more robust. That is what I hope.”
