One of my good friends, ex bodybuilder Jerald Harrison, says that he hates using the word “Diet” because people “Die Trying” to look a certain way. That is true but there was no other way to let you guys know what the content of this article was about. It’s about what I am eating for the next 30 days. I actually eat majority of these foods regardless of dieting but I did cut out extra non- healthy foods that I may have eaten off- season prior to going back into my competition lifestyle. I encourage you to just eat healthier and maybe pick up some of my wellness tips.
Here’s a brief list of the drinks and foods that are in my “wellness diet plan”:
Water, Cranberry Juice, Gatorade, Oatmeal with Flax Seed and Splenda, Albacore Tuna, Fruit, Broccoli, Carrots, Celery, Almonds, Tilapia, Chicken Breast, Sushi, Yams, Shrimp, Beef Jerky, Spinach leaves, and Asparagus
Alcohol- Free Dieting:
The most difficult thing for me during this 30 days is the absence of alcohol. I am not addicted to alcohol but being that I am single and often enjoy the nightlife of single 20 somethings, I have grown accustomed to “having a drink”. That’s THE biggest mistake we can put into our bodies besides fast food (processed foods). Join me by trying to cut back or completely end your alcohol intake. You love to see what the results of your body looks like without it!
